Bonaventure Meadows Public School
2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on developing self-regulation skills and building and maintaining positive relationships.
We are doing this to improve student well-being, and to see an improvement in classroom community, school culture, and an increase in kindness and respect toward peers and staff.
Key Actions or Strategies: Throughout the year, we will be…
- Focusing on the implementation of the Essential Conditions for Learning and developing strategies to support our learning environment.
- Monthly assemblies acknowledging character traits to build capacity in our students.
- Engaging families with resources and opportunities to expand wellness practice.
Community and Home Connections
Ask your child about this month’s character trait and how they are demonstrating it.
Encourage your child to share and use mindfulness strategies (i.e. deep breathing) at home.
